articles) Allvision's Andrew Haslam has been
retained by a multi-national manufacturing organisation to
oversee the collection and processing of disclosure material.
The year long project will include the identification, collection and
processing of 1TB of Electronically Store Information (ESI) as well as
scanning, coding and processing some 10,000 paper files. Andrew will
be resonsible for the production of procurement material, selection of
external vendors, co-ordination between the client, vendors and law firms
as well as overall project management. At the recent IQPC conference,
Allvision's Andrew
Haslam working with leading consultancy Legal Inc
hosted a workshop entitled "THE ANATOMY OF PRACTICAL DISCLOSURE
AND THE BODY OF EVIDENCE" As seasoned litigators will
testify, there is often a huge gulf in theoretical best practice and the
realities of disclosure on the ground. Using three client case
studies, with those clients in attendance, the workshop looked at the key
elements of effective disclosure, the challenges at the coal-face, the
management of clients, process and technology, all with a view to helping
delegates devise consistent and proven methodologies for successful
litigation. Allvision's Andrew Haslam is part of a
panel speaking at the UK ILTA's Insight day on 31 March. He will be talking on the
topic of: How do you coordinate your national or international service providers? How do you ensure your fee earners use one of your panel of preferred service providers? How do you manage and simplify ad hoc service delivery from external suppliers? If you are tired of renegotiating contracts with the same supplier or tired of explaining patiently exactly why you don't use Reboot Inc.'s services, then this session's for you. Knowledge Management initiative in Lovells which has now been
twice nominated for Legal IT Awards in the category of "Best
